A buddy showed me his Hulkman 85, and explained how it worked. I ordered mine on a Saturday, and it was on my doorstep by that Monday afternoon. I charged it fully, and followed instructions to check if it would work without disconnecting my battery: the green “Ready” message was displayed, indicating it will work. Great product, great design! HUGE display and so easy to use. This is the second Hulkmann I’ve purchased. I bought this for my son because he often travels in rural areas for work. I’ve used my Hulkmann to instantly jump start someone with a dead battery after they unsuccessfully tried jumping from a full size SUV. I also love the ability to charge a phone in case of an emergency.

This is the third device I have used to jump start my minivan and does not disappoint. The clamps open wide enough, without too much effort might I add, to easily place on the terminals. Some take effort and don't open wide to place over some of the more bulky terminals I have seen. The display is huge and the "Ready" state is hard to misunderstand. Having the charge status is great as one of the devices I used only had bar lights on the side and only displayed after we tried to jump the car - only to fail as it didn't have enough charge.

Am I happy with it? Yes - it worked and is simple enough for everyone in my fam to use.
